36 Pirouettes
YES - WE ARE FULLY AWARE THAT THESE ARE NOT BALLET PIROUETTES! Alicia Clifton is doing 36 pirouettes wearing tap shoes on a wood floor in front of 5 official witnesses and about 100 people. She made 10 attempts; 19 27 15 14 29 36 33 25 31 23. A Guinness World Record! She attempted to break this record on the REGIS & KELLY show on September 15, 2006, but only managed to do 34 that day. The most she has ever accomplished is 41 while practicing for the REGIS & KELLY show. Update Feb 2011: Alicia now has a second Guinness World Record for the most Fouettes A La Seconde in 30 seconds.

@shalavzo One of the Guinness rules, besides keeping the shoulders and hips aligned, is that you cannot change your arm position, i.e. pull them in so as to increase your rotation speed. Yes, we do consider it a compliment when viewers feel this to be a fake. However, if one goes to the Guinness website and types her name, they will find she now holds another world record besides this one. There certainly is no offense taken at all when someone posts “fake”.

@shalavzo when u turn, your not supposed to move your arms? yu’re obviously not a dancer f u didnt know that u have to hold ur center. the only time u move them is if it is cheoreographed.
